An electric blue Morpho butterfly wing forms the background to a miniature scene in this Art Deco pendant. Pale trailing foliage and warm-toned details stand out against the iridescent blue, creating the impression of a tiny picture within the softly triangular frame.

A beaded Sterling Silver border follows the rounded corners, while a 9ct Gold jump ring completes the piece. It is a particularly colourful pendant, with a geometric outline that gives the detailed scene a neat frame.

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 31mm long including jump ring.
Pendant is 24.5mm wide.
WEIGHT: 6.2g.

MATERIALS: Tests as Sterling Silver, 9ct Gold jump ring, Morpho Butterfly Wing.

STAMPS: SILVER, PAT 202213.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

EXCELLENT: The decorative scene remains clearly visible against the blue butterfly-wing background. Fine surface wear is visible on the Silver back, while the beaded border retains its definition.
