Links are 4.5mm wide.
Padlock is 21.5mm long x 14mm wide.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold.

STAMPS: 9ct on padlock.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

EXCELLENT: Gold surfaces are bright with light, superficial wear commensurate with age; links are well-formed with no kinks and the padlock face shows minor surface marks and a gentle patina. The heart padlock closes securely and the safety chain is intact. Very well cared for with minimal wear and no obvious signs of repair.
