Item Details

ERA: Victorian (1837–1901).

MEASUREMENTS: Earrings are 38mm long including hooks.
Garnets graduate from 3.5mm to 4.5mm in diameter.
WEIGHT: 8g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold (studs), Garnet Gold (backs), Garnet.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: Garnets are bright with lively internal sparkle; under magnification there are light age-consistent surface abrasions and a few tiny nibbles to facets. Hand-finished collet settings and articulated links are secure with a pleasing antique patina. Overall well cared for and ready to wear.
