Two very different colours share this charming Victorian swivel fob. One face has a pale Sardonyx centre and warm reddish edge; the other is deep green Bloodstone flecked with red. A finely engraved 9ct Gold arch curves around the circular setting, with a decorative looped detail beneath the bail.

The swivelling design lets you choose which stone to show, giving the pendant a wonderfully playful character. Originally a watch-chain style, it looks lovely suspended from a favourite chain, bringing a little Victorian detail to everyday dressing.

MEASUREMENTS: 26.5mm long including bail by 17mm wide.
Sardonyx measures 11mm in diameter.
Bloodstone measures 12mm in diameter.
WEIGHT: 3.5g

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold.

GEMSTONES: Sardonyx and Bloodstone.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.
