MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold shank & Sapphire setting, Silver petals, 5.35ct Star Sapphire (natural no evidence of heat), 14 x Old Mine Cut Diamonds (0.40ct).
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

Condition
EXCELLENT. This 9ct Gold Sapphire cabochon Diamond flower ring is in excellent condition! The Sapphire is set securely within the bezel setting and the reflective star is wonderful beneath the light. There are a couple of small surface marks to the cabochon but nothing that takes away from her excellence. The bezel setting is chunky, which is both aesthetically pleasing and functional. The Diamonds are secure and each petal is uniform with a great shape. The chunky ring band provides comfort and security allowing you to wear it into the night in style!
