This dainty Victorian orb pendant is a tiny treasure in 9ct Gold, its planet-like silhouette formed by two luminous Opal domes divided by a sparkling faceted Rock Crystal “ring”. Crowning the orb is a petite trefoil cap set with tiny rose-cut Diamonds, finished with a neat granule finial and a soldered jump ring for effortless wear.

The Opals glow with soft milky iridescence, while the Rock Crystal adds crisp scintillation and definition. Delicate, whimsical and beautifully executed, it’s a charming celestial accent that feels as elegant as it is unique.

ERA: Victorian (1837–1901).

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 14.5mm long including jump ring.
Pendant itself is 8.5mm long x 7mm wide.
Opals measure 6mm in diameter, weighing approx. 0.32ct combined.
WEIGHT: 0.6g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Natural Solid Opal (0.32ct), Rock Crystal, Diamond.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: The Opals are bright and intact with lovely iridescence, and the Rock Crystal facets remain crisp with only the lightest abrasion visible under close inspection. The 9ct Gold shows minimal, even surface wear consistent with age, and the tiny Diamonds are present and securely set. No obvious chips, cracks or losses have been observed, indicating the piece has been well cared for.
