A tiny horseshoe filled with green Malachite gives this Victorian charm an endearing dash of colour. A fine 9ct Gold rim follows the curved outline, with the jump ring tucked neatly at one end.

At just 14.5mm including the jump ring, it is a small detail with plenty of character. Wear it on a fine chain or include it among your favourite charms, where its open horseshoe shape and green face will bring a different texture to the collection.

MEASUREMENTS: Charm measures 14.5mm long including jump ring.
Charm measures 8.5mm wide.
WEIGHT: 0.5g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Malachite.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

GOOD-VERY GOOD: The Gold is bright and buttery, and the horseshoe has held its form well over the years. There is some wear to the Malachites, with a few hairline cracks and a couple of chips in the corners; they are secure in the setting. The back of the pendant shows some wear, which is not visible from the front; the jump ring is securely soldered allowing you to wear this striking Victorian charm with confidence.
