A romantic Georgian pair, these articulated pansy drop earrings marry deep, velvety flat-cut Garnets with the warm glow of 9ct Gold. Graduated round and pear-shaped Garnets are individually collet-set and linked to create an elegant, swaying line that culminates in a floral cluster, its centre kissed with a tiny Diamond for a delicate sparkle.

Hand-finished collet settings with softly scalloped rims and closed backs encapsulate the refined craftsmanship of the period, while slim French-hook fittings ensure graceful movement and effortless wear. Ornate yet refined, they offer a timeless, feminine flourish in a rich raspberry-red palette.

MEASUREMENTS: Earrings are 40.5mm long including hooks.
Earrings are 14.5mm wide.
Diamonds measure approx. 1.5mm in diameter.
Round Garnets measure 4mm in diameter.
Teardrop Garnets graduate from 5.5mm long x 4mm wide to 7mm long x 5mm wide.
WEIGHT: 4.3g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Flat-Cut Garnet, Diamond.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

VERY GOOD: Garnets and Diamonds present beautifully with crisp facets, bright and lively. Some small edge chips to some of the Garnets, only visible under close inspection. Gold collet settings, articulated links and hooks are secure and in excellent order with only light age-consistent signs of wear. No obvious signs of repair or alteration.
