Item Details

ERA: Georgian (1716-1837).

MEASUREMENTS: Earrings are 22mm long x 12mm wide.
Garnets are each approx. 6.5mm long x 4.7mm wide
Weight: 1.7g individual
3.5g combined.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Garnet.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD: These Georgian 9ct Gold flat-cut Garnet drop earrings are in sublime condition. There is only some light surface wear to the earrings but considering that these beauties are over two centuries old, this an easily be forgiven! There is also some evidence at the back of the setting where there is evidence of conversion. The Garnets themselves are perfection, with their foils just as gorgeous as they were all those years ago. What a beautiful pair of antique earrings, ready to be worn and gifted straight away!
