A romantic Arts and Crafts Moonstone drop pendant in 9ct Gold, attributed to Murrle Bennett. The openwork filigree plaque flows with graceful foliate scrolls, framing a luminous oval Moonstone cabochon, while a second cabochon gently suspends below to create a soft, articulated movement. Fine beaded milgrain around the bezels adds a delicate, hand-finished feel.

Both Moonstones display ethereal adularescence with blue‑violet and pink flashes, together weighing approximately 1.70ct. Elegant, ornate and wearable, this is a beautiful example of turn‑of‑the‑century design sensibility rendered in warm 9ct Gold.

Central Moonstone is 9.5mm long x 5.5mm wide, weighing approx. 1.15ct.
Moonstone drop is 7.5mm long x 4.5mm wide, weighing approx. 0.55ct.
Total Moonstone weight approx. 1.70ct.
WEIGHT: 3g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Moonstone (1.70ct).

STAMPS: Maker's Mark MB, 9ct.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.
