Immensely tactile and architectural, this Victorian Silver Albert chain from 1892 showcases a striking mixed-link design. Elongated trombone links alternate with short curb sections and lover's knot connectors, each segment articulated with generous round jump rings for fluid movement. It fastens with a classic dog clip, completing the authentic watch-chain silhouette with a bold, utilitarian edge.

Hand-fabricated with visible soldered joins, the chain has a beautiful, even patina that accentuates its sculptural lines. Crisp English hallmarks confirm its date and origin, and at 57.9g it drapes with a luxurious weight and presence—equally compelling worn alone or layered.

MEASUREMENTS: Chain is 24" (61cm) long.
Links are 7mm wide.
Dog clip is 22.5mm long x 8.5mm wide.

HALLMARKS: Lion passant to each link, Birmingham anchor, date letter “s” for 1892, maker’s mark “JM” on dog clip.
