Glowing with that unmistakable Georgian allure, this foiled Amethyst clasp is set in warm 9ct Gold. The oval Amethyst shimmers with a rich, velvety hue, enhanced by its traditional closed-back foiling, while a pretty scalloped collet adds delicate texture and light-play.

Petite yet radiant, the Amethyst weighs approximately 2.60cts, offering a sumptuous pop of colour. Finished with jump rings on each side, it’s ready to grace a favourite chain or bracelet with an elegant, authentic Georgian touch.

MEASUREMENTS: Clasp is 19mm long including jump rings.
Amethyst is 12mm long x 9mm wide, weighing approx. 2.60ct.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Amethyst (2.60ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

EXCELLENT: The Amethyst presents beautifully with bright colour and a well-preserved foiled back. The 9ct Gold collet is secure, with smooth edges and firm jump rings on each side. Minimal age-related wear only, consistent with careful handling and long-term preservation.
