A playful “Sputnik” orb charm in 9ct Gold, dating to the 1960s. This bold mid-century design is set all over with colourful faux gems, simulating Emeralds, Rubies, Garnets, Pearls and Turquoise for a striking multicoloured effect.

The spherical form is distinctive of the space-age craze of the 1960s, when Sputnik charms became a hugely popular jewellery trend. Its bright colours and textured Gold surface make it a joyful piece to wear or collect, and a wonderful retro accent to any charm bracelet or chain.

VERY GOOD: The charm shows light wear consistent with age but no damage. All stones are original and secure, retaining their bright, playful appearance. The Gold retains a lovely tone with only minor signs of age.
