MEASUREMENTS: Locket is 27.5mm long including jump ring.
Locket is 20mm wide.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold back & front, Metal frames & hinge for strength & durability.

STAMPS: '9CT B&F', 'METAL HINGES & RINGS' (obscured).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

EXCELLENT: The Gold surfaces are bright with fine surface scratches and light age-related darkening in the engraved recesses; the engraved rays and raised border remain well-defined. No obvious dents, breaks or visible repairs noted, with wear consistent with age and careful handling.
