Long trombone links punctuate the rounded Belcher links of this wonderfully characterful Victorian chain. Their polished faces catch the light in broader flashes, adding a little rhythm to the warm 9ct Gold.

A static dog-clip charm holder hangs from the central ring, giving you a lovely place to display a favourite small charm. At 19 inches long, the chain also makes a pleasing statement worn just as it is. The contrast of round links, elongated stations and the sculptural clip gives every part something of its own to admire.

MEASUREMENTS: Chain is 19" (48.5cm) long.
Chain links are 3mm wide.
Trombone links measure 10mm long x 3mm wide.
Charm holder measures 26mm long.
Dog clip measures 17.5mm long.
WEIGHT: 9g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold.

STAMPS: 9c.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

VERY GOOD: The Gold retains a warm sheen across the Belcher and trombone links. A few trombone links have small dinks, with fine surface wear elsewhere. The alternating link pattern remains clearly defined.
