A dainty Victorian treasure in radiant 18ct Gold, this petite round charm is engraved with an eight-point star and set to the centre with a glinting Old Mine Cut Diamond. An applied twisted-rope border frame the star beautifully, creating that much-loved celestial look of the era.

Petite yet luminous, the star-set Diamond catches the light with a soft sparkle while the warm Gold shows a gentle antique patina that accentuates its crisp detailing. Perfect worn solo or layered as a talisman of starlight.

ERA: Victorian (1837–1901).

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 14mm long including jump ring.
Pendant itself is 8.5mm in diameter.
Diamond is 2mm in diameter, approximately 0.03ct.
WEIGHT: 0.6g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Old Mine Cut Diamond (0.03ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT: The Old Mine Cut Diamond is bright with no obvious chips or abrasions, and sits securely in its star setting. The Gold shows light, even surface wear and a pleasing antique patina, with crisp engraving and rope detail throughout. There is evidence of a converiosn from a stick pin on the reverse, which is not visible from the front.
