This delightful Post Edwardian ring is crafted in rich 18ct Gold and features a classic star-set design, centred with a sparkling old mine cut Diamond. The Diamond is framed by finely engraved star motifs, a popular and symbolic style of the early 20th century.

Shoulder-set vivid blue Sapphires add a striking contrast against the warm Gold, enhancing the ring’s elegant symmetry. Fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1919, the inside of the band bears a charming hand-engraved inscription - "From Eddie to Dolse 8/3/22", adding a layer of personal history to this beautifully preserved piece.

MEASUREMENTS: Band measures 7mm wide at the front, tapering to 2.5mm at the back.
Central Diamond measures 2.5mm in diameter.
Sapphires measure approximately 1.5mm to 2mm each.
WEIGHT: 2.3g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Sapphire, Diamond

HALLMARKS: “18”, Crown, Birmingham assay mark, date letter U for 1919, maker’s mark ISG.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: The Diamond and Sapphires are securely set and show only minimal age-related wear. The 18ct Gold band is in excellent condition with crisp engraving and star detailing still clearly defined. Overall, this ring has been exceptionally well cared for.
