A sublime marriage of light and line, these early 20th-century drop earrings pair crisp pavé-set Diamonds with luminous pear-shaped Moonstone cabochons. Crafted in 18ct Gold and Platinum, the geometric top is edged with fine milgrain for that refined Edwardian finish, while delicate articulation lets the drops sway and catch the light.

MEASUREMENTS: Earrings are 42mm long including hooks x 11mm wide at widest point.
Moonstones measure 15mm long x 9.5mm wide, weighing approx. 3.00ct combined.
Diamonds measure approximately 1.5mm in diameter.
WEIGHT: 6.7g (pair).

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold and Platinum, Moonstone (3.00ct), Diamonds.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: The Moonstones are bright with only light surface abrasions visible under close inspection. The Diamond settings are crisp with all stones secure; the Platinum and 18ct Gold show fine milgrain detail and a gentle, even patina in the recesses. Articulation and fittings are sound with minimal wear consistent with careful use.
