This exquisite Edwardian pendant is crafted in rich 18ct Gold and set with glowing, apple-green Peridots framed by lustrous natural Pearls. The elongated, graceful form and delicate openwork are beautifully typical of early 20th-century design, perfectly balancing colour, light and movement.

ERA: Edwardian (1901–1909).

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant measures 45mm long x 25mm wide.
Large Peridot measures 8mm long x 11mm wide.
Pear-cut Peridot measures 5.5mm long x 8.5mm wide.
Total Peridot weight is approx. 4.50ct total.
Pearls graduate from 1.5mm to 2.5mm in diameter.
WEIGHT: 5.2g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Peridot (4.50ct), Natural Pearl.

STAMPS: “18CT”.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

EXCELLENT: The Peridots are bright and eye-clean with vivid colour and fine brilliance. The Pearls have excellent natural lustre and are well matched. The Gold is smooth and polished with crisp detailing and no wear of note. A superbly preserved Edwardian pendant of fine quality.
