Joyful flashes of colour radiate from these Vintage Opal stud earrings, framed by a charming rope‑twist halo. Each natural, solid Opal displays vibrant play‑of‑colour—pops of red, orange, pink, green and blue—held securely in classic four‑claw mounts for a timeless, elegant look.

Crafted in rich 18ct Gold and dating to the 1970s, the compact oval heads feel beautifully considered, with tiny bead terminals adding a touch of ornate detail to the border. Finished with straight posts and butterfly backs (both backs stamped “750”), they’re effortless for everyday while polished enough for evening.

MEASUREMENTS: Earrings are 13mm long x 9mm wide.
Opals are 8mm long x 5.5mm wide, weighing approx. 1.00ct combined.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Natural Solid Opals (1.00ct).

STAMPS: “750” on both butterfly backs.

Condition

VERY GOOD: Opals are bright with no obvious chips or cracks, showing lively play‑of‑colour. Settings are secure with crisp rope detail and even prongs; posts and butterflies fit well.
