A graceful French Victorian festoon, this 18ct Gold necklace drapes in seven refined swags punctuated by articulated drops, slender bars and delicate foliate sprigs. The open, airy garland silhouette flatters the neckline while honey-yellow Citrines glow with sunshine warmth.

Graduated oval Citrines are open-back and claw-set to invite the light, their soft movement and sparkle creating a beautifully romantic effect. With French Eagle’s Head marks to the clasp fittings and a secure bolt-ring closure, it’s a timeless piece of Victorian elegance in sumptuous 18ct Gold.

MEASUREMENTS: Necklace is 16" (40.5cm) long.
The Citrine festoon is 7" long.
Citrine gems graduate in size from 7mm long x 5mm wide to 15.5mm long x 12.5mm wide, weighing approx. 20.00ct combined.
WEIGHT: 14.5g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Citrine (20.00ct).

STAMPS: French Eagles Head on both bolt ring hasps for 18ct Gold.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

VERY GOOD: Citrines are bright and well-matched with light surface abrasions visible under close inspection only. Settings and chains are secure and in tidy order with gentle age-appropriate wear. Clasp functions well, and the necklace has been well cared for over time.
