A romantic French Gold Fixe necklace with a delicate garland of openwork plaques, this beauty captures the fluid grace of Edwardian design. Five airy triangular plaques are adorned with stylised floral sprays and graceful whiplash curves, linked to a fine trace-style chain punctuated with navette-shaped stations for a wonderfully decorative finish.

MEASUREMENTS: Chain is 17 & 1/2" (44.5cm) long.
Plaques measure 25mm long x 12mm deep.
Links are 3.5mm wide.
WEIGHT: 6.2g.

MATERIALS: Tests as French Gold Fixe.

STAMPS: Plaque or Lamine.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD: The metalwork is crisp with light surface wear and a soft, even patina. Some gentle high-point wear to the Gold plating is visible under close inspection, commensurate with age and wear. The plaques, links, and bolt-ring clasp are secure with no visible repairs.
