Bold, graphic and deliciously Victorian, this Silver niello collar lays flat around the neck in articulated “book-chain” style panels. Crisp geometric engraving plays against inky niello grounds, giving beautiful light-and-dark contrast that feels elegant.

Front-closing with an oversized ribbed bolt ring, it wears as a short statement collar and nods to classic watch-chain design. Sleek, architectural ovals and linear detailing create a striking rhythm across the neckline—equally compelling worn alone or styled as a charm-holder centrepiece.

MEASUREMENTS: Chain is 16" (40.5cm) long.
Chain is 7mm wide.
WEIGHT: 18.1g.

MATERIALS: Tests as Sterling Silver, Rose Gold plated, Niello.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: The niello is in fabulous condition with strong, even contrast and only light surface wear to the high points. The articulated links lie flat and move smoothly with an attractive, even patina. No obvious dents, losses or visible repairs.
