Ethereal and romantic, this Victorian Moonstone fringe necklace shimmers with that unmistakable blue-silver adularescence. A graduated row of round cabochon Moonstones is individually set in 15ct Gold scalloped drops, creating a lyrical, light-catching fringe that moves beautifully with the wearer.

MEASUREMENTS: Necklace is 16" (40.5cm) long.
Chain is 2mm wide.
Moonstones graduate from 5mm to 11mm in diameter, weighing approx. 22.50ct combined.
WEIGHT: 18.5g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 15ct Gold, Moonstone (22.50ct).

STAMPS: PATENT CPFF.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

EXCELLENT: Moonstones are bright with a gentle adularescent glow and show only minimal surface wear under close inspection. The articulated scalloped settings and rope-style chain are secure with light, age-related tarnish to some joins. No obvious replacements or later alterations observed.
