These exquisite Victorian earrings, crafted circa 1890, capture the timeless allure of antique Diamond jewellery. Each earring showcases a teardrop cluster of rose-cut Diamonds, delicately set in Sterling Silver to maximise their old-world sparkle. Suspended from 15ct Gold French hooks, these earrings blend two precious metals in the classic 19th-century manner, balancing luxury with wearability. ERA: Victorian, c.1890.

MEASUREMENTS: Earrings are 32mm long from the top of the hooks.
Central cluster measures 17mm tall x 11mm wide.
Pear-shaped Rose-cut Diamonds measure approximately 4.5 long x 3.5mm wide, approx. 0.15–0.20ct each.
Combined Diamond weight: approximately 0.35ct total (pair).
WEIGHT: 4g (pair).

MATERIALS: Tests as 15ct Gold hooks, Sterling Silver clusters and drops, Rose-Cut Diamonds.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: The Diamonds are bright and well-matched with only the lightest natural wear visible under magnification. The Silver settings are crisp and have accrued a gorgeous antique patina, and the Gold hooks are sturdy with no signs of repair. Beautifully preserved for their age and ready to wear and enjoy.
