A beautiful Art Deco Zircon solitaire ring, dating to circa 1920 and crafted in rich 18ct Yellow Gold. The centrepiece is a natural Blue Zircon of approximately 1.50ct in an oval to cushion-cut shape, held in elegant double claws. Her colour is a stunning tropical sea-blue, with lively brilliance and crisp facets that sparkle wonderfully on the hand.

The double claw settings, antique “18ct” stamp and slim Gold band give this ring classic early 20th century charm. It’s a characterful Art Deco solitaire, full of life and ready to be loved and worn every day.

MEASUREMENTS: Zircon is 7mm long x 6mm wide, weighing approx. 1.50ct.
Band is 2mm wide at the back.
WEIGHT: 2.5g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Natural Blue Zircon (1.50ct).

STAMPS: Stamped “18ct”.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD: The Zircon is in great shape with no chips, cracks or nasty abrasions, retaining lots of life and pretty, crisp facets. The gemstone shows some natural “feathers” and inclusions which confirm it as a natural, earth-mined stone rather than damage. The double claw settings, band and antique “18ct” stamp are all present and robust with only minor wear commensurate with age, making this ring ready to wear and enjoy.
