Description
Long Silver legs curl around the smooth cabochons, giving the creature a wonderfully animated shape.
The Moonstones total approximately 8.45ct, bringing a generous pool of soft blue light to the design. Accompanied by an antique box, this is a lovely jewel to enjoy on a lapel and to admire in its presentation case.

ERA: Victorian (1837–1901).
MEASUREMENTS: Brooch measures 35mm long x 38.5mm wide.
Large Moonstone measures 19.5mm long x 11.5mm wide x 5mm deep.
Small Moonstone measures 5.5mm long x 4mm wide x 3mm deep.
Sapphires measure 2.5mm in diameter.
Antique box measures 62.5mm long x 62.5mm wide.
WEIGHT: 5.5g.
MATERIALS: Tests as Silver.
GEMSTONES: Ceylon Moonstones (approx. 8.45ct combined), Sapphires (approx. 0.15ct combined).
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.
PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.
Condition
EXCELLENT: The brooch is in excellent condition, with lovely luminous Moonstones and bright Sapphire eyes. The accompanying antique box shows some wear. A beautifully preserved brooch with a charming antique presentation.

A layaway is an interest-free payment plan that enables you to reserve an item with an initial deposit, and then pay the balance over 60 days.
Layaway is very popular with Lillicoco customers, particularly when making a more considered purchase.
How It Works
In total, you will make three payments over three months:
Day 1: 33.33%
Day 30: 33.33%
Day 60: 33.33%
Your layaway purchase is reserved for you as soon as the initial payment has been taken.
Your order is shipped once the full balance has been paid.
All of our usual terms and conditions apply with a layaway purchase, although 15% of the invoice total is nonrefundable in case of cancellation or return, acting as an administration fee.
A layaway is not a loan, nor is it a form of credit. A credit check is not required to put an item on layaway, and missing a payment will not affect your credit score.
If you do not complete your layaway on schedule your reservation may be cancelled and your payments may be refunded, minus the administration fee.
