A joyous jewel of Victorian sentiment, this 18ct Gold acrostic ring spells “ADORE” in shimmering gemstones: Amethyst, Diamond, Opal, Ruby, and Emerald. A luminous Opal cabochon sits at the heart, flanked by a rosy Rose-cut Diamond, vivid Ruby, verdant Emerald, and regal Amethyst, creating a colourful line of light across the finger.

Each gemstone is neatly collet-set in a warm, high-polish bed of Gold, with a graceful tapering shank for comfort and easy, everyday elegance. Romantic, playful and refined, it’s a beautiful Victorian treasure to wear solo or stack.

MEASUREMENTS: Ring tapers from 5mm wide at the front to 2mm wide at the back.
Emerald measures 3.5mm in diameter.
Ruby measures 4mm in diameter.
Opal measures 4.5mm in diameter.
Diamond measures 4mm in diameter.
Amethyst measures 3mm in diameter.
WEIGHT: 2.6g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, All natural Amethyst, Rose-cut Diamond, Opal, Ruby, Emerald.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: Gemstones are bright and well-matched with only the lightest natural abrasions to a few facet edges visible under magnification. The Gold collets and tapered shank are smooth and highly polished with minimal surface wear, and the settings are secure. No resizing or restoration marks are visible, and the ring has been well cared for.
