Description
Long plain Silver ovals alternate with diagonally striped links, bringing a dark-and-bright rhythm right around the necklace.
The patterned dog clips and large circular fastening make a wonderful feature at the front, and could easily be styled with a pendant or locket. There is plenty to enjoy here without adding a pendant, especially against a simple neckline that lets the elongated links and crisp stripes stand out.

ERA: Victorian (1837–1901).
MEASUREMENTS: Chain measures 17" (43cm) long.
Links measure 7.5mm wide.
Bolt ring measures 20mm in diameter.
Dog clip measures 23.5mm long x 7.5mm wide.
WEIGHT: 22.5g.
MATERIALS: Tests as Silver, Niello.
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.
PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.
Condition
VERY GOOD: This handsome Niello chain is in very good condition, with an appealing contrast between its striped and plain Silver links. The plain links show traces of what appears to be original Rose Gold plating, which has worn away over time, consistent with the chain's age and history.

Layaway Installment Plans
A layaway is an interest-free payment plan that enables you to reserve an item with an initial deposit, and then pay the balance over 60 days.
Layaway is very popular with Lillicoco customers, particularly when making a more considered purchase.
How It Works
In total, you will make three payments over three months:
Day 1: 33.33%
Day 30: 33.33%
Day 60: 33.33%
Your layaway purchase is reserved for you as soon as the initial payment has been taken.
Your order is shipped once the full balance has been paid.
All of our usual terms and conditions apply with a layaway purchase, although 15% of the invoice total is nonrefundable in case of cancellation or return, acting as an administration fee.
A layaway is not a loan, nor is it a form of credit. A credit check is not required to put an item on layaway, and missing a payment will not affect your credit score.
If you do not complete your layaway on schedule your reservation may be cancelled and your payments may be refunded, minus the administration fee.
